SPORT CENTER
A new sports center in Tel Aviv's Montefiore neighborhood near Gesher Yehudit offers various sports activities. It is housed in a building that originally belonged to the Israeli Essex Association and has been renovated.
The building project for the Israeli Sports Association functions as the heart of its neighborhood, similar to how a heart energizes the body. It serves as a hub for athletic programs, training facilities, and sporting events, promoting physical activity and social connections. This metaphor highlights the building as a vital, living entity within the larger system of the neighborhood, fostering a harmonious and vibrant community. The project illustrates how buildings can integrate various functions and support the overall well-being of their surroundings, much like the body's interconnected systems.
